Pours a typical dark colored chocolate stout. Head dissipated very quickly leaving a light brown lacing. Notes of chocolate and a hint of desiccated coconut. Tate’s is outstanding...very balanced and pronounced notes of dark chocolate with some coconut coming through. Marginal bitterness at the finish. Feel is silky smooth and overall an excellent stout.

Poured moderately hard from a bottle into a snifter glass, forming a finger or more of light brown head on top of deep brown color stout. Head faded to heavy lacing that remained. Smell is a nice combination of chocolate and toated coconut. Taste is chocolate first followed by coconut, excellent flavor and not boozy at all. Light/medium body with moderate carbonation. Probably by favorite chocolate/coconut stout so far, andaybe coconut overall.

From the bottle, it pours a nice dark brown with alight brown head that slowly diminishes. Lacing. In the nose -- Coconut! In the mouth, Coconut with a nice chocolate and malt base. Wow! Coconut!

Poured with a dense 1" tan head and an opaque, dark brown body. Foam head settles over a couple of minutes. Scent is delicious: toasted coconut and chocolate are the primary flavors and they come across in a perfect blend. Taste follows, with a slight bitterness up front (a kind of cocoa bitterness) before giving way to a great blend of chocolate and roasted coconut. The aftertaste has a bit more of the sweetness from the coconut. All around a very enjoyable drink and one I would strongly recommend to any stout fan!
