From the year old bottle, it pours a dark brown color with a nice light brown head that, in my mind, has hints of orange in it. Scent includes a touch of orange and chocolate. In the mouth, it is chocolate and orange in the mouth, with a lingering orange peel taste after you swallow.

Poured with a dense 1" dark tan head and an opaque, dark brown body. Foam head settles over several minutes. Scent is filled with cocoa, chocolate, and oranges (orange peels and candied oranges but no orange acidity). Taste is first with cocoa and some orange peel (chocolatey and bitterness), followed by a second chocolate and candied orange flavor that is sweeter, albeit still a touch bitter. Body is medium to full, a bit chewy and boozy with a bit more orange in the aftertaste. Would strongly recommend to any fans of stouts, cocoa, or orange flavorings!
