Trailgazer Session Ale is a LIDL private label. The label lists Central Virginia as the brewer. I took the liberty of attributing this beer to Starr Hill, also located in Crozet, VA. The beer at about 50F was poured from the bottle into a glass. The ale is pale, has a moderate body and background bitterness. The finish is slightly dry, with a lasting hoppy flavor. This isn't too different from (but better than most) mainstream Canadian ales (Labatts 50 or Molson Export). This is a pretty good session ale at $7 a six pack.
