Copper Compass Amber Ale brewed by "Central Virginia" of Crozet is tentatively attributed by me to Starr Hill. This is a Lidl private label priced at about $7.50 per six pack. This is a basic 5.1% amber ale that goes down easily. The beer was poured into a simple glass at about 55F. It is a handsome amber with light tan head. It has a sweet malt aroma. The flavor is balanced, very mild and drinkable. This qualifies as a session beer. It is a well made beer that could also be what a fan of amber ales is looking for.
