Bottle courtesy of Secret Santa (probably hand-bottled) : Poured a amber color ale with a small foamy head with some retention. Taste of medium sweet malt with light bourbon notes with some very faint notes of hops. Taste is also a well balanced mix between some c-hops with notes of bourbon and vanilla and light sweet toffee malt. Body is a bit light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Not the most ground breaking barley wine but well done nonetheless.
