Beer is sold thru Lidls grocery which means this is a value purchase. However it delivers a nice experience for the price. Drinking it from a Sam Adams glass. I like the taste but it was a bit of a watery feel. The head doesn't last and there is no lacing on the glass. Color is a muddy amber. Aftertaste really doesn't go anywhere but not unpleasant. I like the 16 oz. can size. For the price a decent experience.

FRom the bottle, it pours a clear amber color with a modest off-white head that soon diminishes to a ring. In the nose, it is light malt. In the mouth, it is the same - a pleasant nondescript lightly malty lager.

Craft Explorers Oktoberfest is a LIDL market private label, produced by "Central Virginia" of Crozet, VA. About $8 a six pack of 12 oz bottles in September of 2021 . Amber body with a light tan head that dissipates immediately. Low aroma that is pleasant. The flavor is not up to par for an Oktoberfest. It's missing a full smooth mouthfeel. Its flavor has some roasted malt flavor, but the overall impression is not inviting, at least to me.
A second bottle a few days later goes down more smoothly. I raised my rating from below 3 to just above.
