A WCIPA.Poured into a pub glass, quickly dissipating head, golden color light haze
A hoppy start quickly ending.
An easy drinking hoppy IPA. I liked it.

Super hoppy on the front-end but really calms down as you swirl and swallow. Easier to drink than most IPAs, so if yer looking for something smoother and cheaper then this isn’t a bad grab. Got it as a Christmas gift and it’s definitely being drank, if that tells ya’ anything haha. Not a go-to, nothin’ like Hazy Little Thing or Voodoo’s Juicy IPA, but definitely something I wouldn’t shy away from if I saw it as an option.

At $6.99 a six pack this is an amazing bargain. It's a real, complex, satisfying IPA. As the other reviewer said it's only sold at Lidl. Lidl is a huge chain in Europe but doesn't have that many stores in the US. Tragically my local Lidl is out of stock as I write this. I only discovered there was a Lidl near me recently so I don't know if this is a common occurrence. Lidl also sells another Craft Explorers beer called Blue Ridge lager, which I DO NOT recommend.

Craft Explorers Hop Blast IPA 12 oz bottle six pack purchased in Sept. of 2021 (It is labeled Central Virginia Brewing Co. and is exclusive to Lidl.). The beer at about 50F was poured into a simple glass. The body is a deep gold color. The head is white; it recedes fairly quickly, and leaves just a trace of lacing. There's a lot going on in the taste. It is hop forward, with a nice mixture of aroma, flavor and bitterness. There is some malt body to balance. The aftertaste lingers pleasantly, again a mix of hop flavor and bitterness. This is a solid West Coast style IPA that is in the same league as some of the best known brands. The hop experience might not quite be a "blast", but its right where I like it.
