Golden. Piney. Regal. Part of a variety pack celebrating the 15 year anniversary of the Northern Lights IPA.
Pour had a fluffy white head over a stunning golden amber body with good clarity and minimal effervescence. Scent initially came across as a nice crisp pine hop followed by a citrus profile that has a slightly sweeter bent to it. Taste leans more into the sweeter citrus notes while the pine is evident along with the ABV peeking through. Feel is on the full side with an aftertaste competing between the hoppy notes and ABV. Overall the beer seems exceptionally aligned with the Imperial IPA style.
