L: Pours a dark umber chocolate, forming an espresso head that's quick to fade. A light swirl of bubbles on the surface and a faint ring of effervescent froth around the edge of the snifter. Held to the light, this beer has an opaque, dark fudge hue.
S: Light cacao nibs, malt, and char.
T: Loads of cacao nibs, roasted malt, and coffee. Rather astringent, but not too boozy. A bit lighter than expected, but smooth and robust.
F: Medium-bodied. Silky, almost creamy mouthfeel. Smooth. Light carbonation.
O: Good taste, but the intensity of the aromas is lacking and the body is a bit thin.
