One of the best sours I've had to date. Poured into a tulip. Was a bit pricy, but worth every penny. Who knew Australia had such a gem. Do yourself a favor and drink this wonderfully crisp yet juicy beer.

Regardless of this beer's origins, the end result comes across as being more akin to a Flanders oud bruin. Popping the cap unleashes a roomful of tart aromatics, blossoming into a really delightful bouquet of dark stonefruit, cider vinegar, oak, and a subtle spiciness. A piquant tartness on the first sip becomes smoother with subsequent tipples--tart cherry, sweet red grapefruit, barrel character, and vanilla undertones. One of the nicest, most complex unfruited sours I've ever had.

Damn, a Tasmanian, Australia sour that I found in Reno, Nevada! Haven't seen Two Metre Tall elsewhere but will seek it out. Wonderful acid balance and great flavor profile. This is a serious sour that is super juicy and pleasing. One to try if you can find it.

pale yellow bodied beer with wispy bone white that drops down to no head quickly. Smells fruity with well water minerality. White grapes and pear skin. Taste is much the same as the nose. The taste has a mild sourness; perhaps a 3.75 out of 10. Light body with moderate carbonation, its crisp and semi-dry. Very drinkable thanks to the light acidity. My guess is that this the best Australian beer that I will ever drink; pretty tasty wild ale. Very reminiscent of Gueuze or a blended American blond wild ale.
