Clear, amber color. Thick, off-white head. Aroma of blueberries and wheat malt. Rather sweet, fruity taste. Light bitterness in the end. Tastes a little bit artificial.

Poured into a Stone gargoyle flute. Pours a medium golden amber with coppery notes and a thin white head that dissipates to patches with slight lacing. Aroma of wheat malt, blueberries and a little diacetyl. Flavor is wheat malt, wheat bread and blueberry pie filling. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. Taste is pretty much as expected, a nice wheat ale with blueberry flavor. The blueberry tastes more like pie filling than fresh blueberry, but authentic enough. This can has a mystery date code (why do this?), but having bought it on the West Coast, it may have some age on it, possibly muting the blueberry character. It's a pleasant combination of flavors, but somewhat two-note. The possible diacetyl in the aroma was not present in the flavor and may have been an artifact of the blueberry portion. A pleasant, light fruit ale.

Pours a light copper with well over a finger of head. The nose has definite notes of sour blueberries. The sourness does not carry over to the flavor profile. Instead there is muted sweetness with modest notes of canned blueberry. The body is actually heftier than expected.

Pours clear, golden amber. Aroma is blueberry and wheat. Taste is light, clean with low to moderate carbonationand mildly blueberry. I believe they call this a beer in the "lawnmower" category.

(12 oz can, L051 13; purchased cold single at Pinocchio's in Media today... poured into the washed out St. Bernardus goblet I just used for my previous review)
L: polished-clear, (maple syrup-)amber liquid; head don't hold for shit, fizzy bizness, but a crescent collar sticks around
S: blueberry and apple when I pop the tab... undeniably syrupy tone to it, blueberry wine even... can one 'smell' tannins?!... skewed, but strident aromas; perhaps appealing to some... I guess it's like syrup-saturated flap jacks
T: not nearly as bad as I'd anticipated, but still has a toe in the scented candle realm... this would kill it paired with blueberry pancakes... am I being won over by this?!?... blueberry pancakes out the ass... its candy-like moderate sweetness slowly layers and clings to the palate; liquid sucrose... that blueberry flavor is shelacked to the palate for awhile; need something harsh to scrub it off
F: bit of a blobby body and round, oily viscosity; par for the course, I suppose... can barely detect the alcohol until the finish when it takes a peek... I feel like I should be expecting more levity and buoyancy, but then it seems like a sugary concentrate may have been sluiced in
O: could have sworn this was an old jawn of theirs, hmm... this should most certainly be in the 'fruit and field' category but, damn, does its wheatiness shine!... I'm a little floored and ashamed by my enjoyment of this; most recommended! (2054)

12 oz. can, no date. Acquired a single can as part of a mixed six pack at the local Binny's. My third beer from Sea Dog Brewing Company. Apparently a different beer than their other blueberry wheat beer. Interesting.
Poured to a Southern Tier Warlock glass.
A - Dark coppery amber body, big finger of fizzy bubbly off-white head. Leaves behind some lacing. Looks ok for what it is.
S - Aromas of artificial blueberry popsicle, hints of wheat. Maybe a bit vinegary at times.
T - Taste is actually pretty nice, not entirely authentic tasting, but the blueberry popsicle flavor is nice. Notes of berry skins, cream, & wheat. Hints of canned blueberry iced tea, like a Peace Tea. Bit of dusty wheaty, earthy grains on the finish.
M - Feel is smooth, crisp, light-bodied, easy drinking.
Overall, about what I was expecting given my previous experience with beers from this brewery. Interesting stuff, would try more from these guys.

Nucleated Pilsner
Look: Clear Amber-gold in color, pouring a 1 finger head which dissipated into a ring with light lacing
Smell: Wheat malt and blueberry
Taste: wheat malt which develops into light blueberry leading into a light hop bitterness finishing with lingering blueberry
Feel: Moderate carbonation and smooth
Overall: Its alright. If offered I would drink it but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. Simple, yet achieving its goals.

Clear amber appearance with a small off white head and light lacing. Smells just like the blueberry muffin I had for breakfast yesterday. Hard to separate the aroma from the taste unless you hold your nose real tight. Actually, not that bad.. Wheaty, sweet, almost to the point of being cloying. Light bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. You should basically know what to expect just looking at the can. A gift; one and done.

The smell is overwhelming blueberry, almost like a juice rather than a beer. The flavor is definitely fruit centered, with a subtle malty flavor. I find the blueberry flavor to be too overpowering and somewhat artificial. Indeed brews a much better blueberry hef.
