On tap
Pours medium amber with an orange hue, the head is off white, leaves a respectable collar, but only minor lacing on the glass.
Fruity sniff, with a hint of the tart about to be experienced.
Warming and fruity, with more then a hint of sour fruityness. Notes of pepper, brandy, and biting tang.
Refreshing and flavorful. Nice summer sour

Draft: Poured a clear yellow color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of light juniper bay and light rustic malt notes is somewhat disappointing. Taste is also dominated by light juniper notes with rustic malt and light fruity ester. Body is about average with good carbonation. This one was a disappointment with not enough character.

This was listed as a strong saison at the brewpub. This beer was amber gold and quite clear. Good head retention. The cap of foam left a thick coating of very fine bubbles clinging to the sides of the glass. The aroma was heavy with cloves and phenolic character, white pepper, ripe fruit, and lemon zest. There was a sturdy, yet delicate, bitterness that supported the sweet malts, grain and cereal flavours. Peppery in the finish. Fairly similar to the aroma. The texture was very smooth with a bit of alcohol warmth. Medium bodied, lightish carbonation. I really liked this one. It had plenty of character and was a great choice for ending the evening.
