L: Pours hazy gold under a very dense 3” rocky cream colored foam collar that is still over ½” after 5 minutes and is still present after half an hour. Marks each drink with a thick ledge of lace.
S: Malt, earth and citrus aromas rise from the glass joined by light grains.
T: It is an interesting layered palate with different aspects of flavor and bitterness in the foam and in the body of the beer – almost like a beer parfait. It has a moderate malt biscuit backbone lightly sweetened by caramel and supported by fruit, citrus and melon that knocks the rough edges off the assertive hop bitterness in the body and then there is a brassier, sharper bitterness in the foam that gradually mixes in with the body to combine in a lingering quinine bitterness.
F: Has an unparalleled texture that is very creamy all the way through with a soft palate and medium body. It starts slightly warming and then gradually increases as the beer itself warms.
O: An outrageously good, hop driven beer.

A: Usual pine, orange, and some slight melon from old school Columbus and Amarillo hops. Some malt sweetness and bread crust but minor compared to the hops.
A: Burnt orange a and cloudy. Light off white head that fades very fast.
F: This is where this beer got me. The pine aroma comes through in the flavor but then boom! the citrus really shines through. It was like taking a bite of a cutie rind and all. Very nice. But... after it warms the malt backbone and c-20 or 30 grain start showing through. Some alcohol bite also peeks out. Really wish the hops would have kept up throughout the warming.
M: medium body and carb, slightly oily and slick from all the hops it that is expected with all the hops. No stringency.
O: Typically not impressed with most new DIPA'S on the market these days this one made me say wow from the 1st sip. I really wish that had carried through after it warmed up. If you see this beer drink it asap but do so before it warms up.

Pours a murky amber orange with off white head. Aroma of sweet malt with candied hop, piney and earthy with a floral note. Slight citrus. Taste is sweet up front giving way to assertive bitterness. Really bitter. Very very dank hop oil sits on the palate. Overall a very enjoyable imperial IPA at a solid price point.

Smells like the absolute hop bomb it is - ruby red grapefruit, pine, resin, dank.
Taste - melange of wonderful hop flavors, sweet, some malt there, fantastic.
Overall - very good, right up there with the best San Diego DIPAs I've had.
Buy it if you find it.
