Poured into a grip shaped goblet: color is gold, not clear and hazy but no thick, head is off white to light tan and presents 1/4 inch thick then dissipates to thick ring and spotty top, spotty lacing on the glass sides.

Smell is light but notes of citrus, floral, earth, light pine, some base malt.

Taste is more notable - citrus, herbal, floral, earth, pine but maybe some aging to it; malt is light biscuit.

Mouthfeel is moderate carbonation, moderate sweetness, moderate bitterness but light for the style.

Overall this does taste a bit past prime but no date so tough to know but base malt profile is good.

Can of unknown date into an imperial nonic pint.

L: Pours vibrant copper with 2 fingers of medium-density white frothy head with good retention and left mixed lacing.

S: Floral and woody, was expecting more Mosaic to come through from the dry hop.

T: Earthy and grassy, finishes with moderate bitterness that lingers slightly on the palate.

F: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, slick on tongue and swallow.

O: This one probably isn't going to appeal to the masses. Wanted more of the Mosaic aspects, maybe my can is old.

Pours a dark amber with long-lasting foam in the Ommegang chalice. Lush mouthfeel with lots of fine carbonation. Aromas of pine, resins, earth. Brewed with Centennial and Amarillo, and dry-hopped with Mosaic. Tastes like dark wood and green herbs.

Just a slight malty sweetness to start. Then the aftertaste is quite bitter. Clean and tastes like hops but man, is it bitter. Seems like they could have done without some of the hop additions. From the 16 oz can purchased from Bine & Vine. On the bottom is stamped "Freshest 04/29/21."
