6 oz sample poured into an American Tumbler.
A - Poured a cloudy wheat yellow color with a foamy head. Solid retention and a touch of lacing but not enough for the style. This, however, could be due to the glass and pour size.
S - Classic banana and clay esters with yeast aromas over a light wheatiness.
T - Strong banana aroma blends with ample clove spicing it well. A background sweetness of a dab of honey mingles with the light wheats. Flavorful!
M - Creamy and smooth, it's a light-bodied but well rounded beer that's crisp and effervescent.
D - What a great, if not somewhat standard, summer brew. It fits the hefe style well and I could easily see putting a growler of this away on a hot afternoon.
