“This beer is inspired by the pre-prohibition American lagers. The name comes from the Swedish colony located on both sides of Delaware Bay 1638-1655.”

The colour is pale golden yellow; the firm two finger thick is off-white and firm. Some lacing.

The rather insipid smell is mild and sweet with notes of honey, sweet loaf and a minimal touch of bitterness.

The taste is bitter with low body. The malt got some roasted notes. The aftertaste is strong with lots of malts and bitter hops; a sweet meaty-salty flavour of gravy and honey. American aroma hops? Sure.

The carbonation is strong with lots of large bubbles. Fine.

A much better beer than I expected from “Three Towns”. Not perfect in any way but at least it got some character.
