The colour is amber-brown; the two finger head slowly sinks down to an off-white ring.
The smell is sharp and sweet with lots of malt and dough. I found notes of alcohol-based detergents, bitter almonds and a touch of strawberry jam.
The taste is sweet and malty with some warming alcohol, hints of bitter and sweet almonds, roasted nuts and raw meat. The body is medium to low. The (rather short) aftertaste is sweet and rather clean with some alcohol, dough, nuts and a touch of beef stock.
The carbonation is medium strong with some sharp bubbles. The liquid is a bit thin for a bock.
