Bloom is a delectable double IPA – overflowing with bright, blossoming hops that remind us of spring time. Organic Mosaic and Idaho 7 hops burst with immense floral, citrus and pine notes. The body is hazy with a nice round mouthfeel. Bloom is an explosion of hoppy goodness, but don’t forget that its 8.1%! Enjoy.

Poured from a 16oz can into a muffin top. DDH DIPAs are becoming so common now that it's becoming rather difficult to distinguish between the sea of pretty-good-bordering-great-but-not-outstanding beers, but I'll do my best.
Pours a murky burnt orange with an enticing nose of ripe grapefruit, unripened green melons, and grassy hops. Taste follows the nose but is more traditional west coast DIPA with very hoppy and bitter flavors backed with a sweet malt with hints of grapefruit, melon, kiwi and some red berries throughout. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, ABV well hidden. I'd pick this one up again at the current price point, and its pretty darn good, but nothing amazing that stands out about this one for me.

Happy New CANned Modern Twin Peak Evil Times Beer Sunday (Week 744), Round 8! The CANQuest (tm) is getting a good workout.
From the CAN: "A wicked dry-hopped Double IPA"; "Local sourcing[,] Bright juicy hops[,] Certified organic"; "The best ingredients in beer".
My last Peak CAN! I didn't realize that I had THIS many in abeyance. 8=O I Crack!ed open the vent & beCAN a slow, gentle C-Line Glug that resulted in just under two fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, tawny head with decent retention. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Golden-Amber (SRM = > 5, < 7). Nose smelled like an old school AIPA with loads of grapefruit & pine resin! If this pans out, I am going to be mighty happy. 8=) Mouthfeel was medium. The taste was not as pronounced as on the nose, but there was still a good bit of pine mintiness, which is what I really miss from ~ 20 years ago. It scratched an itch that I didn't really even feel until I beCAN this review. It was kind of a mellow hoppiness, not over the top or in-your-face, but more subtle. Ever made hops tea? You have to be wary of the steep time as it CAN become VERY bitter very quickly, but done well & done right, it will be VERY mellow. This beer was reminiscent of hop tea. Good thing that I just roused from a nap or I might be tempted. Finish was dry, but not overly bitter. I CAN see this in the same light as I currently do with MJ - a mellow nightcap before going to bed. YMMV.

Almost undrinkable: the taste and smell are completely off. Not sure what happened to it, but it seems like the beer was contaminated by some chemicals.

A: Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a decent cap that leaves good lacing
S: Citrus, floral, and light tropical hops up front along with a touch of pine and malt
T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the citrus and floral hops and then picks up some pine and tropical fruit notes. Malt balances nicely. Low-moderate bitterness. Finishes with lingering bready malt and citrus
M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Slick
O: A very good dry-hopped DIPA. Very easy to drink. Definitely worth checking out

A: The beer is very hazy pale dark yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left bits of lacing on the surface and a narrow collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of stone fruit and herbal hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of herbal hops and stone fruit with notes of citrus, the latter of which strengthens as the beer warms up. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes more like a hybrid between an Imperial IPA and a New England IPA than something that is strictly a New England IPA.

One Pint can : date of review: January 28 2019
The color of the liquid is a golden and amber, with a hit of orange in the highlights.
Robust white foam creates the dome. Seems pretty active, dissipates in slow fashion. Spreads out to a fine, bubbly coverage. Minimal lace.
The nose is classic New England DIPA. Huge amounts of tropical fruits, mango, pineapple and kiwi. Sweet orange citrus, vanilla extract, golden, buttery biscuit style malt all pop out after the hoppy craziness of sweet tropical fruits subsides. A bold and extensive hoppy aroma! Bright, fruity and juicy.
The classic New England style effects carry us through the taste as well....
Super-bold and complex notes of tropical fruit, i.e: pineapple, blood orange, mango and orange peel. Very bold hoppy complixty.
Lush feel, crispy and jazzy bite at first, a juicy-medium bodied feel rides through with a silky texture that turns dry, dry, dry right at the end. The dry, earthy, bitter, leafy hop thing happens in the finish taste as well. The duality of bright, juicy hops and bitter-dry-toned hops really plays in unison.
Fat and bold hop flavor with the perfect amount of golden, biscuity malt balance makes Bloom a higher-end NEDIPA. One thing I always love in Peak brews is the extra crispy and lively feel, perhaps from a very potent ale yeast, as it seems "bottle conditioned". But not. Regardless, I dont thing you will be dissapointed in this one.

Poured into a 16 oz Hop Slam Snulip glass the canning thing is strange on this one, thinking 3 or 4 weeks old. Pours a very hazy orange with a 2 finger sticky white head that coats the sides of the glass with thick patches of lace. 4.25
Smell is apricot, hard apple candy, honey dew, pine, and grapefruit rind. 4.25
Taste follows apricot, hard candy, melon, tangerine, and some grapefruit. 4.25
Mouthfeel is bigger than average, sticky fairly soft mouthfeel, and goes down very easy at 8% ABV. 4.25
Overall I am struggling to find many complaints with this one, just solid all the way around and again at an excellent price. 4.25
