We absolutely adore New England Style Double IPA’s. The enormous citrus and pine hop aroma, the silky mouthfeel, the perfect balance between hop assertiveness and malt backbone - we love making beers like this. This Summer we are introducing a new one - Key Lime! Dripping with huge amounts of Mosaic, Idaho 7 and Citra hops, this beer has a mesmerizing hop aroma. We add a hint Key Lime to this beer, to give an exotic, summertime twist, then add lactose and vanilla to create a luscious mouthfeel. It’s like an assertive New England-style Double IPA meets a Key Lime Milkshake. Enjoy! 8% ABV.

Can from a Lazy Dog
Hazy electric lemon in color with a frothy white head that persists. Lime and sour grapefruit with that fake milk sugary taste. Just ok

Pours a deep opaque golden with a long lasting off white creamy head. Smell hops, vanilla, faint lime. Taste is reminiscent of lime, vanilla, super fresh hops. Feels medium bodied and juicy, ample carbonation. Smooth creamy feel. I never usually buy beer with lactose but this one is organic (bonus) , so I thought I would give it a try. Over all this a great IPA. It is not Key lime pie in a can. Tastes are very subtle and well done.
