Had this at the Mt Wash hotel a couple of weekends ago. What a treat. Pours deep reddish brown. A bit of clarity, but mysterious enough. Head is two finger and total white froth. Nose is filled with nut and sweetness. Mouthfeel is THICK. Wow, coats the throat. Really nice. Flavors are many. Sweet malt, touch of american hops, roast flavors. Crisp dry finish. A very nice beer.

This brew was purchased at the Omni Mt. Washington Resort Hotel in New Hampshire and may only be available there. Brought to me in a pint glass it had a 1 inch head with good retention and nice lacing. The appearance was orange amber and clear. The aroma was very lightly of hops and lightly roasted malts. The taste was mainly of roasted malt with little bitterness. The feel was light, and the finish was somewhat metallic.

A very nice amber ale. Getting Peak's Amber Ale, which is more widely available, will give you much the same experience.
