This was pumped on the handle to a pint glass.
This beer was written up as a loaded ESB, but after taking down a pint of this, I'm really not sure how this wasn't an IPA. Poured brilliant golden amber, nice thick head with tons of retention. The smell was very hoppy, with a clean citrus bite. The taste also jumped out as very bitter, with the usual grapefruit flavors of a typical IPA, and finished dry. The ESB characteristics peak through a little, and I was searching for them because of the name, with a slight earthy malt undertone. The mouthfeel was fairly thin, almost to the point of seeming watered down (the second beer from this brewery I've noticed this in.) Decent tasting, but rather bland. OK for one or two pints but that's about it.
