A radiant New England IPA that dazzles with a medley of Simcoe, Citra, Sabro, and Idaho 7. It offers notes of mango, pineapple and tangerine with a hint of coconut. Its hazy golden glow and smooth, creamy mouthfeel make every sip a refreshing delight. Even though the brewing’s done, are you ready for the afterglow?

Afterglow is a NEIPA worth trying. It may even be good enough for many American micros to emulate.
Afterglow Looks barely better than average, nice foam from the pour but nothing lasts. Smells are the familiar fruit punch of NEIPAs. Tastes are on the sweet side, but stay balanced; and the hops don't bitter the finish. (That's the lesson for American micros.) Medium-mouthed.
My first from Mad Squirrel (formerly Red Squirrel), I went on their website and wondered why I hadn't had my first earlier. They have been around for almost two decades, depending on what you count as gestation. They have had two major crowd-funding campaigns. They have contracts with supermarket chains for several years and have some 8 taprooms. Very accomplished. For all that I give them very good Overall Hugs.
