Incredibly clean-tasting and refreshing pale ale, befitting the low ABV.

Canned in a big old tallboy crafty craft can and delivered as part of an online supermarket Ocado shop
Pours a hazy lemon flesh coloured body with a white head that settles down to a few splatterings of bubbles
Aroma is pine & grapefruit
Flavour is pithy, citrus and bitter
But like most gf beer a little thin

440ml can. An English pale ale with American hops. Less honeyed malt, more tropical fruit. Smells of guava, honeydew and peach. Tastes of lemon and mandarin. Bitterness is very light. Mouthfeel is verging on thin. This is more like a lightweight APA than an English golden ale.

On cask at The Eagle, Hoxton, London.
Glowing lemon with sudsy film that rings. Fresh lemon rind on the nose with maybe some crusty loaf.
Melon and crackers with citrus twist hops.
Lemon candy end and lean, slightly tingly linger. Crisp, round, some chew.
Actually a good bit of sweetness without being biscuity and cleaner than some, I suppose. But still a bit lost in a sea of quenching blondes that inspires yawns. I’m getting pretty tired of seeing 3 or 4 of this style in every London pub.
Actually a golden ale - note to BA, please add this style!
