Nice nose, very heavy on the red wine. Flavour is also good, red wine, oak, some balsamic, moderately tart. Definitely a Flanders taste, but more winey and less vinegar.

Bottle: Poured a clear pale orange/red color ale with a large foamy had with OK retention and some light lacing. Aroma of vinous notes with some oak and tart notes clearly identifiable. Taste is also a mix of vinous notes with some oak and tart notes with light hints of acidity. Body is about average with OK carbonation. Not the most complex sour from this brewery but quite enjoyable nonetheless.

Pours a ruby-orange-brown that is very cloudy with a fizzy white head that disappears almost immediately. No retention or lacing to speak of. The aroma is full of funky tartness with some citrus, horse blanket and spicy herbs in the back. It is sweatier than it is tart. The flavor is the opposite, woody tartness but not super sour, pepper, mandarin orange, barnyard. Light carbonation and fairly thin, lingering slight tartness. This is a good, but not great, sour. For the price I don't know that I would buy it or go out of my way for it, but I did enjoy it.
