hazy, dark yellow. Decent white fluffy head with solid retention. nose has slight dust and leather notes complementing the floral esters and yeast phenols of the original. Taste is dry with mild vanilla and hay alongside the floral notes. Very nice. Quite light bodied with moderate carbonation, but the carbonation feels muted by the dryness, which is well accented accordingly.

Bottle: Poured a clear blonde color ale with a nice pure white foamy head with good retention and light lacing notes. Aroma of light tart notes with some residual sugar notes. Taste is a mix of light tart notes with some oak and some light honey notes. Body is light with good carbonation. Easy drinking saison with limited complexity and limited impact of the barrel.
