A classic farmhouse style ale brewed with malted barley and wheat malts accenting an artful blend of sweet orange blossom honey with the spice of rye. An inspiring ale that paints the picture of tradition and flavorful creativity.

Light gold amber...lasting head. Humm...aroma of wet dog that wandered into a grapefruit field with flowers..aye? Smooth funky flavors...fruity, funky, slight malt and uh...can't say I detect hops or sweetness. Big carbonation and tasty. I would happily enjoy a pint.

Label says 2011 bottling and "Bottle Conditioned with Brettanomyces." Brewed with orange blossom honey. Hazed golden amber with a decent white cap of foam. The brett flavor is distinctive but restrained. Makes a peculiar combination with the sweet malt flavors along with the honey taste. Acidity provides some relief along with the fairly bitter aftertaste and the scratchy bacterial bitterness.
A strange duck but certainly interesting. Light bodied. Fragrance of funk and spice.

On tap at Freshcraft. Orange color, looks decent enough. Smell is very floral, not bad but odd, not impressed. The flavor was unlike any saison I've had, floral, perfume, oranges, it was like something from Bath and Bodyworks was poured into the beer, awful. So glad I tried this on tap as the bottle price is ridiculous and it was not a good saison at all.
