I was served a pint glass from the tap at Kimo's in Richland, Washington. The bartender called this there IPA but it tasted and seemed more of a dry hopped APA to me.
A: It poured a clear golden yellow body with a bone white head that receded fast and supported a tiny clinging lacing.
S: The floral hops came out early giving off the smell of grapefruits. Underlying the hops were lightly toasted malts and the smell of sharp white spices.
T: The semi-sweet malts came first followed by white spices (all spice and white pepper). It finished with citrusy flavors (mostly grapefruits) that bite the back of the tongue. However, there was an odd sour/tart flavor that seemed out of place and lingered long into the aftertaste.
M: It was light bodied, heavily carbonated and left a sour aftertaste that was unpleasant.
D: I could not finish my pint...the sour/tart flavor was off-putting and turned me off.

Light gold color, medium head, somewhat cloudy. A light bodied pale ale. More hoppy than malty. Slightly off taste?? (Old beer?, still fermenting?, excessive hoppyness?) Can't quite figure out what the off taste is. Mouthfeel is hoppy. Finish is crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.
