It doesn't look bad or smell bad. It produces a nice head but it dissipates fast. The problem here is the taste and feel. IT has an after taste like salsa that has gone bad and feels about like water.

Light straw color, the clarity makes this beer shine underneath a bone white head. Bready malt notes dominate the nose, with the slightest note of grassy hops.
The pilsner malt really shines one the taste, but I wish the hops were a bit more present. Still , a nice little quencher that, at 3.7% ABV, you could pound like a 16-penny nail.

Just grabbed a pint of this at a local pizza place called Veracci's where I stopped in for a slice. A shaker pint glass went for $2.50 there.
I didn't perceive this as a pilsener, but an American adjunct lager, so I scored it accordingly (it helped that the tap handle didn't say pilsener on it). It's not a style of beer that I can ever rate terribly high, but for a regionaly made version of, say, PBR, it hits all the notes such a beer is supposed to, but with a little extra mildly citrusy hop flavor, and comes in at exactly the same price point.
This would make an excellent lawnmower beer and give your friends who won't touch anything hoppy or don't think beer is something to spend any kind of money on something to drink, and the money doesn't go to some mega brewer. Yeah, when wanting this kind of beer, I'd totally drink this again.

Very mild, a slight nuttiness with a grassy astringency. Inoffensive, but thoroughly unremarkable.

Nicely balanced, very fresh, authentic hopping, delicious, crisp, excellent with food.

Pretty underwhelming. Tastes & looks like an adjunct.
There's something unctuous about the mouthfeel. If it weren't dirt cheap during happy hour at a restaurant close nearby, I wouldn't bother, especially with Urquell on tap across the street.

Attractive golden amber in the pint nonic with a modest white foam that lasts pretty well. Plenty of tingly carbonation. Really light body.
Some slight malty notes with just a hint of sweetness. Resiny, piney hops with an assertive bitter finish. Overall, it's a pleasant gulp considering it's even lighter weight than the Utah four percent draft beers.
You could call this a hoppy light lager, but it's quite easy to drink. Just a little sharp and edgy but great for a low alcohol quaff. On tap at the brewery restaurant in downtown Mount Vernon.
