Pours a slightly hazy coppery gold color with off-white head. Floral notes, some pine and citrus on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with some nice hoppy resinous tones.

poured from a bottle into a Govino beer glass. nice thick head that left heavy lacing on the glass
A- dark amber color.
S- slight hint of orange peel or even grapefruit with a slight floral note.
T- The grapefruit or bitter citrus comes through. nice hoppiness.
M- it does leave the tongue coated with an almost soapy film. but the bitter fruit hangs around too, which is nice.
O- This is a very average IPA, almost non-descript. I don't hate it; I don't love it. It's just ok. I would drink it again, but it would not be in a regular rotation.

This really isn't that good of a beer. I bought a six pack in the hopes of enjoying the IPA for this regional brewery, but I don't see myself drinking it quickly.
The taste is okay, but the aftertaste is terrible--alcoholic, bitter, and disappointing. The smell is good, but the taste watered-down and not refined. I love, IPAs, but the ones that I love are truly refined--careful in taste, and balanced in feel. This IPA is neither. It's a moderate example of an IPA, but not representative of a brewery that cares about what they're producing.
