This is what I've come to think of when drinking double IPA's. If you're going beyond an IPA you won't be surprised or disappointed by the IBU's. That doesn't mean this is one of the growing number of Northwest beers that shoots for shock value over an enjoyable brew.
I also have noticed how consistent this beer is brewed as I often buy it in single 22oz bottles or on tap.
