Washington Grown Hops provide an aroma profile rich in mandarin orange and stone fruit aromatics. Living Daylights IPA has a pleasant, soft malt character and discernable bitterness.

Hazy amber brew with adequate foam in the goblet. Pleasant aroma of citrus. Tastes like sweet orange peel with a dose of grapefruit pith, like all the other hazies. This is actually pretty drinkable, but I think this beer, at 16 IBUs, proves that the IBU is just confusing the measurement of bitterness. It's certainly bitter, but in a more astringent way than honest hop bitterness. Yet the bitterness grows before you can get half a glass down. Still it's a far cry from the usual abusively hopped West Coast IPAs. From the 12 oz can dated 24 JUN 25, a nice age for a hazy. And I love these newer can labels from Scuttlebutt.

Pours a hazy lemonade color with a large foamy head that leaves some lacing. The aroma is semi-sweet citrus, as is the taste. It has a very creamy mouthfeel and not much bitterness. BOD 12-16-2025
