Poured from 12oz can into a mug. Canned 6/16/21. This is a "German style Pilsner" according to the label.
Appearance: straw-colored body with a little bit of haze and some light effervescence. Head is a thin layer of white foam, without a ton of retention. It looks nice enough, but for the style a little more clarity and head would be nice.
Smell: a light malt with no noticeable hops and a decent-enough lager character. It's reasonable, but not outstanding.
Taste: a slightly sweet malt with a surprisingly rich hop character, after that aroma. There's some springtime flavor here, perhaps just a tiny touch of lemongrass and just green, refreshing hop character. I like it.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with a good carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: I didn't have high hopes at first, but the flavor was there and this is a darn drinkable beer.
