Scuttlebutt IPA, had on tap at Brewforia.
A: Golden honey color. A tiny bit of haze and carbonation, and ok lacing.
S&T: The nose is soft fruit and seems hop forward, but on the tongue the malts work to make a nice backbone. Finishes with grapefruit dryness.
MF&D: Soft, light mouthfeel, a little drying, and very sessionable.
Notes: This beer is definitely not as dry and hop forward as a traditional West Coast IPA, but I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it's an English IPA either. Somewhere in the middle. In a good way.
