This beer is an homage to the Japanese style lager. Itis brewed with barley, rice, El Dorado and Alora hops. Except a rounded malt body and pleasant bitterness with notes of peach, yuzu, mango and tangerine.

Pours a clear golden color with a small to medium head. Aroma is rice malt and sweetness and fruitiness. Taste is typical Japanese lager with a mild hop presence. Very good Japanese lager. BOD 9-15-2025

Clear golden brew with plenty of foam in the Baltic art glass. Inviting aroma of straw, green herbs, and cereal. There is a more distinct hoppiness in this Japanese-style brew than in most of the Rice Lagers. My first review of this over a year ago noted a surprising bitterness, but they seem to have toned it down. It's just slightly more like a hoppy lager but a tasty variation on the style. More malt flavor, a touch of lemon, and a grainy finish. From the 16 oz can purchased at Elizabeth Station. Dated 03/24/24.
