Had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the 13th Avenue Pub in Lynnwood. This beer is brewed especially for them by Scuttlebutt.
Appearance: slightly hazy medium amber hue with a tiny layer of creamy tan foam. Nice lacing, though.
Smell: mild caramel malt aroma. Sweet and pretty appealing.
Taste: dryer flavor than the aroma would suggest. Smooth malt character with a moderate bitterness and earthy hops. A solidly built American amber -- I like it!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a pretty big carbonation and good creaminess. Good stuff.
Overall: a surprisingly tasty amber ale. Plus, since it's the house beer, they sell it at a discount!
