Drinking out of a pint glass.
Pours a clear amber with a thick tan head.
Smells some of toffee.
Good mouth feel.
Very malt heavy for an ipa. More like a pale ale or red ale.
But nice.

Didn’t want to review this, but Murph and Gregg wanted to pick on me as I reviewed a beer live at this place while on a recent work trip. Saw that the hops on this were Centennial, Cascade, Simcoe and CTZ. Was familiar with them all going into it.
Poured a dark amber clear color with 1-to-2 fingers when I got it (missed the head color). Could see a few bubbles coming up along the sides of the glass. Excellent spiderweb foamy lacing. Excellent retention. (Sight - 4.25)
Smelled a big whiff of piney hops. Got Cascade, Centennial, purple grape, red grapefruit, spicy Simcoe, caramel malt and plum. (Smell - 3.50)
Tasted a mix of hops. Got pine, Cascade, Centennial, purple grape, red grapefruit, spicy Simcoe, bubble gum, red grapefruit and caramel malt. (Taste - 3.50)
Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Long finish. (Feel - 4.00)
This was good overall, but nothing I’d need to have again. The flight I had after this was pretty good though. (Overall - 3.50)

On tap at the brewery. Opens with wonderful outdoorsy aroma, average pour, copper body. Taste equal parts malt and hops, but finishes sharp, favoring the hops.
