25th Anniversary Imperial Amber Ale

This aged amber captures the spirit of the brewery's signature Amber Ale and adds a whole lot of something to make it special. As someone that spent a lot of time at the brewery when it first opened I truly appreciate taking something from its beginnings and twisting its theme into a more relevant special edition beer. The doubling of the malt and hops, and the aging in the rum barrels make for a much bolder beer, but notes of the original amber are still there. The 9% ABV is not hidden and when you enjoy this beer you will definitely feel like it is a "Two in One" type of experience.

600 bottle count. Half aged in small batch rum barrels and blended with non aged ale to balance. For only being 50% aged, this has a pretty big rum alcohol punch. Brown sugar, mollasses, vanilla, oak, rich malt and booze. Super dry finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Reigned in sweetness. Well rounded and delicious. This is coming in hot.
