Served in a good teardrop/goblet...

Standard-issue Wit head-about an inch and bubble-bath-ish. Cloudy, lemon-honey Hall's colored.

Nice coriander but slight off-putting scent (diacetyl, phenol? Probably diacetyl-very buttery),

A lot more soap than desired-getting yeast and wheat electricity and some spice but not a lot of zest.

Mouthfeel is crisp with a bit of aftertase-more austere than desired.

Looking for more hearty presence here-heft doesn't match flavor profile.

Served in a 5 oz sampler glass at the source.

Looks cloudy and lemon yellow, no head except a slight amount of fizz around the edge, but it might have been a while since being poured.

Spicy and clove nose, with a bit of doughy bread aroma.

Tastes sour and bready, with a distinct floral finish, maybe chamomile. Typical mouthfeel for the style, though not as much wheat body as expected, nor as much effervescence.

Drinkability was decent, a good refresher beside a blackened chicken sandwich.

I had this on tap with dinner tonight.

Appearance: Pours a very hazy straw color with wisps of bubbles but no head.

Smell: The aroma is dominated by very strong peppery coriander. There are also some tart citric aromas with ginger undertones. There's also a light yeasty and grainy aroma.

Taste: Grainy maltiness upfront, with a citric tartness in the center that becomes pleasingly strong The finish is a strong peppery coriander spiciness with a light touch of grain.

Mouthfeel: Light-bodied with moderate carbonation.

Drinkability: Tasty, light and refreshing.

Pours a cloudy golden 'white' color, topped with a one finger foamy white head, leaves puffy webs of lacing.
Wheat, spicy, pepper, banana, orange, floral bouquet aroma.
Wheat, candy, pepper, orange and yeasty taste.
Light bodied, good drinkability. More to the hefe side, the taste doesn't have much of the spiciness of a wit.

Appearance – This one is light and fluffy yellow in color and very hazy. The beer itself looks great but the head was pretty flat.

Smell – The light, pure orange aroma had a delicate yeast base and some white pepper for spicing.

Taste – The nose makes it straight to the taste. It tastes exactly as it smells. The light yeast base is covered with strong orange flavors and all is complimented with a light white pepper spicing.

Mouthfeel – This light-bodied Witbier showed some good, fluffy carbonation but the ultra-strong sweetness sucked in my cheeks.

Drinkability – This is an average Wit, which makes it better than average being brewed in the US.

This beer poured a hazy dirty blonde yellow with a white head.

The nose was a lovely mix of fruit. Lots of banana, some other fresh fruit smells. At first I thought it was a hefeweizen it was so fruity.

The taste was medium bodied with lots of fresh fruit smells. Banana, apples, pears, almost a fresh fruit puree. Some soft spice and a very soft even bitterness. I really couldn’t make out much of a hop smell. It ended smooth with a soft fruit finish.

Overall just a very fresh tasting white. Not as spicy as some wit beers, actually tasted more like some of their hefeweizens. Still, very tasty and drinkable. A beer I wouldn’t hesitate having again.

Sampled on tap at the brewpub. Listed as 4.7% abv on the chalkboard.

This wit bier poured a cloudy, golden color with creamy, white foam that clung to the inside of the glass (served in a tulip glass). The smell was fruity and sweet (sugar?) and floral (hops). The taste was malty with both floral and bitter hop tastes, together with a hint of candy sugar flavor. The mouthfeel was smooth and creamy with medium body and low carbonation feel. The finish was hoppy. This was a very nice wit bier: floral and fruity but atypical in that not much spice was tasted.

This was a very nice beer...served in a tulip glass, which was a nice touch. It also added to the beer's overall appearance, of cloudy golden, with a fluffy head resting on top. Aroma was of spice, citrus, and a hint of bubblegum. Medium mouthfeel, with nice tight carbonation. Taste was on the citrusy side, but it was smooth and easy to drink, and I appreciated the abv! Would recommend. pat
