I'm a sucker for beer with aggressive punctuation. Clear orange with a piddling white head. Aroma is a heady mix of mead, pumpkin meat and winter spice. Nords would drink this. The vegetal squash and honey mix for an interesting but not entirely pleasant sweet gourd flavor with spicy phenols for artisan, rustic flair.
Probably as well done as a honey squash ale can be but it still tastes like spicy sweet squash. I finished 3/4 of it before tapping out. So unique the only beer I can think of being comparable is Barrier's Sasquash.

The beer pours with a two finger head, forcing the bartender to do two pours.
Strong spicy aroma. Reminds me of a heavily spiced Winter brew.
The taste is both smoother and more biting than the smell would indicate. There's a notable dry honey flavor with a bit ginger and clove. This combo gives the complexity of this beer. The body is rich and the carbonation appropriate.
