Cask version with citra hops. Hazy burnt orange body, nice white head. Big citra hops, floral, and spice. Flavors were citrus and grassy hops, with a clean, dry malt finish.

On tap at the brewery, pours hazy gold color with a foamy 1 finger off white head that faded slows and left excellent foamy lacing coating the sides and rings as it went down.

Smells of floral hops, rye, orange peel, lemon zest, coriander, light caramel, pepper and other mild spices, then some grains and biscuit. Nice fresh and floral smelling rye IPA that's got a little malt to balance it out. Malt is a tad thin smelling, but that lets the spices shine.

Tastes like it smells but it's got more spice nip and citrus coming through like grapefruit, pineapple, sour green apple and light cinnamon. The rye and spices really works well with the fresh dry floral hop essence, but the balance was a little lopsided towards the hops.

Mouthfeel is light, crisp and creamy smooth, an easy drinking session beer.

Small head that settles to rim bubbles. Excellent ring lace after each sip. Cloudy, orange-dark amber color.

Fresh fruit aroma from the grapefruit-like hop. Spicy.

Peppery and biting throughout the tasting. Provides for a long aftertaste. Dry base from the rye. Astringent finish. Above average body and carbonation.
