Pours a medium brown. Lots of cinnamon raisin, burnt toast on the nose, a good amount of hop bitterness on this. Between the hops and oakiness, this coms across as harsh. Probably my least favorite of the entire night. Not bad, but the character was not what I enjoyed from the other iterations.

Enjoyed at the barley wine festival. Reviewed from notes.
A - Poured into a snifter a hazy chestnut hue with a light off white head that fades to leave light halo.
S - Aromas of nice toffee, caramel, light alcohol. Good amount of bourbon though it's still somewhat subtle on the nose.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, rather thin. The bourbon is really faint. There is nice oak but the barleywine itself is quite subtle. Decent malt sweetness.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated good for the style, alcohol is hidden nicely.
O - Overall this was a decent beer, just a caramel bomb with rather soft and subdued barrel notes.
