The beer pours a muddy brown where light passes easily through the edge of the glass. Very minor head which leaves no lace on the glass.
Mild sweetness with a chocolate nib nose.
The taste is far more bitter than the smell indicates. The base still retains the semisweet chocolate flavor. The finish draws out some alcohol warmth while the aftertaste is a pleasant blend of all the features mentioned. Decent body with ample carbonation.
