On tap at brewery on Nitro. Dark orange color, nice tan head that stays as you drink. A nice bread aroma. Very soft on the tongue.

Pours a nice mahogany cherry wood color - it's the color of those cabinets if you're into that. Toasty, biscotti, a touch of light roast coffee. This is a really nice one. Brew more bitters and milds pls.

Highly sessionable, malty beer. Had it at the brewery. Would definitely have this again when I wanted something that tastes like beer and won't really affect me with high ABV.

Scores updated on second tasting featuring a nitro pour.
Second review with a nitro pour improves this appearance a lot. Here, it takes several pours from the bartender to serve. Once served, the beige head lasts throughout.
Deep brown color with a strong ruby hue. Appears clear, but it's hard to tell. Fast dying head which leaves no lace.
Sweet treacle aroma of very dark caramel. No discernible hop to the nose.
High carbonation with a relatively weak body...it resembles soda pop on the tongue. Dark, but not quite chocolate, malt flavors. Sweet start which diminishes through the swallow. Little bitterness to balance this, so this beer remains a toasted malt product.
The second tasting features a strong metallic flavor of iron which is distracting.
