Served as a "nitro stout with smoked pumpkins"
Requires two pours in order to serve it, but the head is less than a half finger thick. Still, it leaves a blanket of beige lace. The brew is near black in color with no light passes anywhere on the glass.
The smell is of mocha and burnt wood. Similar to charcoal but more like a spent campfire. No pumpkin to the nose.
The taste is dry with lots of ash and dark, Baker's chocolate. Again, no pumpkin. The body is richer than its Irish cousins but thinner than many American stouts. The aftertaste is (dark) chocolatey with a touch of ash.
