According to the chalk board this is a pale ale aged sugi wood...whatever that means.
Gold color with a modest haze. Small head but it leaves some fine bubbled blankets on the glass.
Malty nose featuring some sugar, cream and mild spices (nutmeg and birch bark.
This is well balanced with malt start mimicking the nose except I might detect a modicum of cinnamon. The hop shows up in the swallow creating a complex aftertaste. There's also a woody and berry presence. The body is full with an elevated carbonation level.
