A: Pours a reddish brown with a slightly pink layer of foam.

S: Cherries - lots of sour cherries in this one. And that's basically it.

T: Wow! This is a tart and sour beer, unbelievably so. And damn is it good. The sour taste of cherries is dominant, with hints of other flavors that I can't identify.

M: Smooth with some nice active carbonation and that lip-puckering sourness.

D: Due to acidic nature of this beer, I probably couldn't drink more than a couple, but it's a very flavorful and drinkable beer overall.

Sampled at a recent BBQ/Beer party, this arrived in a lableless corked and caged 750 with a Cambridge Brewing cap. I think it was purchased recently at the brewery, but my memory of this evening is convaluded to say the least.

Dark ruby brown pour with a loose and bubbly head of wheat colored foam that retains nicely as a frothy collar.

Aroma is amazing and DEAD ON. Intertwined notes of tart and sweet fresh cherry, dry oaky must, earthy minerals, fermenting fruit, crushed concrete or chalk, and sparkling acidity with plenty of lambic funk.

Simply amazing flavor stands proudly among the best of the true Belgian Kreik lambics. Reminds me as bit of De Ranke kriek. Big sour cherries with just a hint of juicey sweetness, plain yogurt sharpness, dry oak and light toasty vanilla, near-rotton fruit, cider, farmy must, prickly sweet chewing tobacco, damp concrete, and great lambic yeast. One of the best Kreiks I've had the pleasure of sampling.

Body is light to medium, with large bubbles, a slick, juicey mouthfeel and great drinkability. Just tart enough to be very refreshing, but not as tart and harsh as Cantillion. I want more! I will try to find out more about where this was purchased and when it was brewed.
