Tried this at Eli Cannon's in Middletown, CT. Came in a tulip glass with about a half inch of head leaving behind substantial lacing, and the color was a clear amber. The aroma was resinous and citrusy and the taste was more of the same with rind being the most prominent. Good IPA.

16oz. can served in a schooner. Pours a dull tangerine hue with a slight haze to the clarity and a loose, quarter inch, off-white head. Nose expresses sweet notes of citrus and hints of earthy/herbal notes at the back. Taste consistent with nose; however, the earthy herbal notes pop more at the finish. There's also a buttery nuance - not off-putting, but a little out of place. Mouthfeel is light-medium in body with an assertive carbonation and a mild acidity. Overall, solid offering at a fair price point.

Had it on tap ththe other day, brought some home and now drinking it poured from the can.
Looks nice, hazy but not murky (that is, until the bottom of the can poured out), orange yellow with a dense white head.
Smell and taste are great, tropical fruit and grapefruit, stone fruit and berries. Crisp cracker malt base is underneath it all too. Nice.
Feels well balanced, a bit slick and resinous. Medium full bodied with a light bitterness.
Overall a very tasty beer, glad I picked it up!

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a beautiful opaque burnt orange paper color topped by a slim off white foamy head. Mild filmy lace weaves around the glass in a semi-sticky sort of fashion.
The aroma had a wonderful blend of sweet over ripe peach, cantaloupe, and sweet citrusy pulp/pith-like quality. White pepper spice split the prior mentioned fruits to blend fairly nice.
The flavor moderately leads with the sweetness initially but ends up pulling in that white pepper spicy hoppiness underneath. Sly sticky aftertaste of cantaloupe, over ripe peach and white pepper.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt good - nice and low as expected. ABV felt appropriate. Definitely a spicy hoppy sort of finish with some moderate grip.
Overall, pretty darn good New England styled DIPA I'd have again.

Picked-up a four-pack of cans at Long Ridge Wine & Spirits in Plymouth for about fourteen dollars. Have had new from these guys before (Flower Child used to be as go-to for me), but not for a while. Solid brew, nice price point.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color. It poured with lots of specks of bubbles on the surface and lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate flavors of citrusy hops and cantaloupe melon are present in the nose.
T: Light to moderate flavors of grapefruit and orange citrus are present in the nose along with strong notes of cantaloupe almonds. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA is very easy to drink and has nice aromas and flavors of citrus.

Consumed 3/5/19
A: Golden orange with some yellow tones - Decidedly hazy with some clarity around the edges - pours with a small, off-white head, fades to a wispy cap, retains a small collar and leaves some nice streaks of lacing
S: A range of fruits, but doesn't quite smell like a fruit cocktail - orange and grapefruit flesh and zest - touch of lime - some green, herbal hops - white grapes - peach - some tropical notes - woodsy and earthy notes - tropical pine (Mosaic) - pale malts at the base
T: Intense amount of citrus, with some orange and grapefruit flesh, zest, juice - floral citrus as well - herbal notes, green, leafy hops - earthy, woodsy notes, with a touch of pine sap - dry tropical notes - fleshy tropical fruit - fresh white grapes - surprisingly bitter for the style, which is interesting - tropical fruit juice - fairly dry and neutral malt base with a touch of sweetness
M: Medium body, medium carbonation, a bit prickly but also smooth
O: What about her ghost in the fog?
CBC has low-key been making great NEDIPAs for years now. I'm not sure why they picked this one to be canned, but it's certainly interesting. The Mosaic and Nelson aromas and flavors are only matched by the similarly massive citrusy hops. It's worth a try.
