Pale Mild

I enjoyed this creative brew at NERAX. The golden ale formed a small head and left some lace on my glass Its aroma was very hoppy, with notes of grass and citrus. The flavor was interestingly grafted, it began with an almost honey sweetness before some sharp hop notes which subsided to reveal a more complex malt body with hints of roasting. The dry finish was grassy and rich with spices. It was a very interesting beer, but perhaps it was too hoppy - it seemed to be more of a Pale Ale than Mild. It was medium-well bodied and quite enjoyable.

On cask at NERAX. Mild chill hazed on this pale golden brew, thin white lace kept in place. Thin bodied with a big floral hop that laid down a soft bitterness. Malt flavour consisted of hints of grain and faint honey sweetness. This beer went down like water … a light session brew to be had. As for the flavour, it was extremely delicate and with everything put together is held up very well.
