Pours a one-finger off-white head that fades very slowly leaving a good lace. Hazy amber color. Good carbonation and medium bodied. Honey & peach nose and flavor follows with honey & peach. Nice barleywine. Higher ABV (12%) is hidden. Pricey at $10.95 for a 375ml caged & corked bottle from Colonial Spirits Acton, Ma.

Dark golden color and crystal clear. Brief head which settles to very few rim bubbles. No lasting lace.
Sweet smell with honey overtones. I also get plenty of raisin like a white port. I hope this is a portend of the taste.
The flavor very much mirrors the nose. The body is predictably rich but the carbonation, while fine, provides a good cut to the high sugar content. Lots of alcohol warmth which adds to the white Port experience. The swallow is warm while the aftertaste is short and literally sweet.
