On tap at Cambridge Brewing Company in Cambridge, MA.
This one pours golden brown-ish color, with a small white tight head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like toasted malt, some light chocolate, light toffee, some tea, and a hint of roast.
There's a lot of flavor here for the lower ABV, but it's all restrained in a pleasant way. It's so toasty and creamy tasting, with a very light grassy/tea-like hop presence - it's just a kiss on the back end. There's some dusty chocolate and a touch of roast, as well.
This is light bodied, and extremely creamy and drinkable. I could drink this all day.
I respect a brewery that not only brews this style, but brews it very well.
